Ever since I got laid off - my finger joints have been aching and at times pained. Also very stiff in the morning. Knees ache also. I can walk up the stairs with no difficulty, but down the stairs is another story. With winter coming on, the symptoms seem worse. I guess my fingers are not getting enough exercise, typing. Eight years post and I feel "ancient." <sigh>

I stopped working two years ago and have also noticed a lot more aches and pains. Stiff joints, etc. I'm sure it's because I'm not moving around as much, especially since I'm not on my feet all day anymore. If I sit too long in one place, I have to get up and walk. I hope you can find some relief. What kind of work did you do? Did you use your hands a lot at your job? smile.gif

Hi,

I mainly did transcribing work. All day long. And yes, I don't type as much as I did.
