I've posted this before but must try again for an answer or sister in tender uterus!!!!!!

About 1 week into my cycle, my uterus becomes terribly painful to touch. As if it is inflamed, injured.....it can pain me even without touching it, as if I am able to tell it feels swollen. I have been a few times to my Dr with the question but he says everything is fine besides a Myoma that shouldn't/wouldn't cause the pain. I am FINE during my period, no uterine pain really at all but the work up to and after ovulation for about a week (hence 2 weeks in the month) is a uncomfortable disaster!!!!!
Really just puting any pressure on it at all will take my breath away....and can also pain up as my bladder fills (bladder has also been scoped with nothing found)

I promise this will be my last post trying to find anyone else that goes through this each and every month sad.gif

Hi, I'm sorry you haven't had any luck finding someone who shares your particular pain. Please don't think we don't care. Just so that I understand you correctly, do you mean touching your uterus from the outside causes pain, like just pressing on your lower stomach?

I used to have a tilted uterus which was very painful before and during my period to the point where the pain, which came in waves, would stop me in my tracks until it subsided. Sometimes the pressure from a full bladder and intestines caused pain too and relieving myself almost rose me up off the toilet seat (sorry if that's too much information). There are exercises to help with tilted uterus.

Maybe you can get a 2nd medical opinion? Just don't give up.

hugs

Wow...my Dr. only just told me during my last check up that my uterus is tilted?!? And yes, touching it, pressing is just what I mean. Can you tell me if you have anything online about the exercises? I never knew it could be slef corrected...
Thanks sooooo much!

Hi Girlsmom ..... I GET THIS !!!!!! you are so not alone with this ..... I don't get this all that often, buy boy oh boy .... when it happens...HOLY COW! I have to lay there on the couch, or bed, and curl up in a ball, and take pain killer! It feels very sore and tender, as if someone punched me in the uterus .... or, the way your uterus feels after having a baby ... I also get get these cramps from he**, and these stabbing, or shooting pains along with the soreness.....

Girlsmom...... this hormonal change is for the birds! What will it be next? Maybe, we'll wake up with no head! dry.gif

I'm glad that I can help. The exercise I did was just getting on the floor on my knees and bending forward so that my elbows were flat on the floor and my butt was in the air. I rested my forehead on my hands. I did that for several minutes a few times a day.

I also googled "exercises for tilted uterus" and so many websites came up that you can choose from that talked about putting your knees to your chest, etc. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

That is exactly it....soar like after just having a baby....or being punched wink.gif No cramps per se....just wicked tender. Can it fluctuate for you too for a couple of weeks a month? I'm back to this part of my cyle and even though it happens each and every time....I still find myself bewildered that it can go on for soooo long each time. Like ovulation pain that never knows when to end.

Thank you Eminar. I will look into it and ask my Dr directly next time if this could have any connection. In the meantime, time to google some new exercises!!!!
