Besides the pre-period *spot*, literally just a spot for 2-3 days...I seem to only have a one day period. One day that I actually have to change a pad. I'll wear one for a day or 2 after in case i get a *spot* but that is all I seem to have for the last 6 months or so. I can be very regular at 28 days or off at 25 days...never go longer than 28 though.
It was about 2-3 years ago that I knew i couldn't make it to the bathroom in the a.m. without leving a "trail" wink.gif
Am I almost done or what???

I thoroughly enjoy having the one day periods...sometimes mine don't even last a day, they'll last maybe an hour. You're very lucky to just have spotting for the past 6 months. You could possibly be near the end, then again, you may start the long, heavy flows.I will keep my fingers crossed that's you're nearing the end.....

I keep thinking that I could use a good shedding!!!!!¨That maybe all the uterine discomfort I have during the month would go away if I had atleast one big decent period!! I'm feeling worse and worse lately. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a one days-er but I also don't like what I have to deal with the rest of the month since this started ohmy.gif

Then my recent period went for 4 days......heavy heavy......painful.......(endometriosis and adenomyosis)

Go figure......

I would LOVE this to be over.......

Take care,

Hi Girlsmom,

I'm just turned 41 and I have also been having a one-day period for about 6 months now. Beginning with a 2 or 3 days of spotting and followed by 6-12 hours of some light bleeding, then thats it. I also get really bad cramps and just feel miserable. I keep thinking am I close to stopping completely? But I hear alot of ladies talk about going from no period to bleeding for 20 days straight. The truth is its just completely unpredictable from here on out. I totally agree with you too about not minding the 1-dayers but having to deal with all the rest of it that makes you feel insane.

Hang in there, you are not alone!
