Hi Kim,
I did the Revival Soy Bars for quite a while before I had my breakdown as I will call it. It did help me for quite a while as far as feeling on edge all of the time. However, I now have Hashimotos and am wondering if all of that soy might have triggered it. I don't know, but I have read that soy can cause hypothyroidism so I stay away from it now.

I did and it was very good!
But started feeling very tired, later found out all soy products makes my tsh go up (hypothyroidism). YET my cholesterol drop 23 points.

Thyroid may only be effected if you take replacement hormone and even then you may be able to eat/drink soy just not within 4 hrs of taking thyroid medication.
(Like dairy)
if you have thyroid issues just have your tsh check before using soy and a few months later> if no effect your good!

I heard that they are great but am afraid to try! I have some spotting issues and overall my symptoms suggest estrogen dominance so I am under the impression that soy might worsen it. For anxiety I am trying omega fish oil every day and a B12 complex. All that is great but mainly the anxiety is helped by being in the first two weeks of my cycle (and then things get tough w/ ovulation and after). No too much to do for that except yoga, excercise, distraction and self talk...

Hey there cutie pie!! Yes... I used Revival for about 2 years. I started it for the night sweats. This was before I even had hot flashes during the day. The upside? It worked. Night sweats were gone, which of course helped me sleep better. Sleeping better helped with the anxiety. It was a ripple effect for sure!! The downside? It's expensive (although for me well worth it! I would have paid ANYTHING to sleep thru most the night! tongue.gif )

Also.. until your body gets use to the massive amounts of soy, it can cause embarrassing gas! laugh.gif I mean EMBARRASSING laugh.gif Thank God I had a private office at work!! laugh.gif But once the body adjusts (less than a week) the gas stops.

MaryO suggested (when I posted about the gas!) to drink my shake slowly, throughout the day. A bit in the morning, a bit in the afternoon, the rest at night, and that did help me get thru that first week. I also mixed it with water so I didn't have to worry about it sitting in milk most the day. After the first week, I just drank the whole thing in the morning.

Good Luck!!!!

No I haven't but I have consumed products with soy. Let's just say my body does NOT like soy stuff. wacko.gif
