Lady E
Hi ladies. As most of you know my dear MIL passed last Thursday. We had her receiving friends Sunday, burial Monday. My husband has three days off and today we took care of some things like having her oxygen machine picked up,going to the bank, etc. This is also sugar pill week on my bcp(that I take for peri symptoms)well,I tried to lie down a little while ago and instead of resting I started feeling awful.I felt like I was running a fever, achey, sore, tired,my head feels full,my arms and legs feel rubbery. My skin is clammy and I am anxious.I just got up and came to the computer hoping to get my mind off of this, but I feel awful.I am reminded of how I felt before I started my bcp,so I think it is a mixture of the stress and hormones. Can anyone give me a little comfort and tell me they have felt the same way?I have heard there is some swine flu where I live and that scares me a bit.I am nor running a fever,no coughing.Just feel awful. Thanks and GOD-bless

hely girl,

You need some TLC, you have been under ALOT of stress and with you being on your off week with the bcp your hormones are to blame too. However, if you do not feel better within 24-48 hours I would head to the urgent care center just to make sure. The flu is going around over here where I live, my neighbors kids are sick with it and It is much better to be safe than sorry.Maybe, take a hot bath and soak away some stress and than crawl into bed and get some rest.

Sending you hugs.

Thanks.I really do need some rest, you know, mental rest-where you just have a day when you do not have to do anything really important.I am so drained. Thanks again and GOD-bless

I second the bath idea idea. Add some epsom salts to relax your muscles. Load up on some vitamin C, rest a lot and sit in the sun. Hope you feel better soon.

LadyE:

I am so sorry that you are feeling bad. I will say this, I agree that if you are not feeling better to talk to doctor to be sure. I will also say that anxiety can make you physically ill. It has happened to me. your body and mind can only take so much and you have been through the ringer lately. Please take care of yourself now.

Hugs to you,
Jeaninne

I am sorry for your loss Nanny.
How you are feeling sounds like how I feel when I am under stress and it's my small version of a panic attack. I think you need to take a bath, relax and let the stress and anxiety wash away from you.
I heard an analogy the other day "human hormones are like a spider web, once one is pulled the others are pulled out of balance as well". I am sure it is a temporary state for you....please take good care of yourself.

HUGS Maura
