Hey all!! Have any of you heard of or tried Amberen? Looks and sounds good but is probably another one of THOSE(ripoffs)! Life's just peachy in menopauseland, isn't it?

I have wondered the same thing!! Been hearing the ad on the radio a lot.

I used Amberen for about 6 months or more and I thought it was GREAT. The only reason I stopped taking it is because my dr. wanted me on the BCP for the severe cramps I began having. Don't know if it was related to the use of Amberen or not. The only way to know if it works for you is to try it. It has been in the making for 25 years. I didn't have any complaints about it.

Did you lose weight while taking it?

Well, I didn't gain and I might have lost a little. I have not taken it in over a year. I have put on so much weight since going on the AD and the BCP that I just can't remember if I lost or not.

I really cannot remember specifics, sorry, but I know I felt overall much better. The AD is really what has helped the most and the fastest. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

[/size][size="3"]No, that's alright. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to remember if it had been over a year ago either. I probably need an AD but don't know when or if I will take that step.
