really frustrated
Good Morning Ladies,
Just wanted to let you know How Im feeling up to today! I started Efflexor on Thursday evening and so far soooooooooooooooo good! My dizzies are completely gone!
I honestly cant believe it smile.gif I know I have a ways to go as I have just started the meds but my head is clearer ...not as foggy and I havent felt dizzy at all in 3 days...............where I would normally have at least 8 or 9 spells a day!
The only complain I have and question is does anyone that is on this med find that they are having a hard time sleeping at night????
My only complain is restlessness at bedtime..............feeling tired, get in bed and cant sleep! Going on a couple of hours a night isnt good enough...
Should I take the med in the AM instead of PM maybe...if so how do I switch when I take them??
Have a great day ladies and maybe this can help someone with my discovery of taking this AD

You know after I typed this I went back to View new posts and there was a new one on DIZZIES! This was the first forum I found when I first came to this website 4 days ago! I have honestly felt like each and every one of you! I have been tested for this and that etc.....I read the 35 symptoms of Peri and as soon as I hit about the 4 symptom I knew exactly what was wrong with me...I book an appointment for the very next day with my doc and took the list in with me checked off every symptom and told her this is what is wrong with me!!!!!!!! She agreeed and said lets start you on some anti anxiety meds right away and she said she was 95% sure that I would feel so much better! I was nervous about starting it because of all the side effects but I had to start somewhere! I was done with dizziness,,,couldnt cope, go anywhere, work, function daily etc etc.
i know its only been 3 days since takin it but I FEEL AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not saying that this is everyones answer....but I m pretty sure it is mine for now....................I worked yesterday and I can say that i didnt feel that i needed to be by something to grab ahold of, i was more calm and was myself for a change!
HUGS TO YOU ALL!

Wow, what great news. Perhaps taking the ad in the morning, if you're not already, or cutting back a little and building up over time to a higher dose to see if that helps the insomnia. Trouble sleeping is a common side effect of this ad.

KAR....
I have started off with 37.5mg for a week then next Thursday up it to 75mg. I think maybe with switchin it to Morning would work better...But KAR do I just not take my dose tonight and take it in the morning instead??
That is the only sideeffect so far! BUT WOW is right! I was really leary about starting it but Im telling you I havent felt this good in years!

I would NOT take two doses 12 hours apart. Take your dose tonight. Take your dose tomorrow at 2pm then the next day take it in the morn. It's more of a weening back time.

Hi Lady!
Could I just not skip my tonights dose? and just take in the morning instead??
Maybe I should phone my pharmasist and ask them?? I just dont want to mess with it as I have just started but am thinking if I take it in the morning I would maybe be able to sleep at night smile.gif
