I have been on Prozac for about 6-7 weeks now. I also take oxazepam at night. All related to hot flashes. Lately i have noticed I get really cold to the point of putting on a sweater and then sometimes a blanket. Now this past week i have noticed i'm getting anxious and when i go to bed my body is restless and i need to move around alot. Any suggestions?

Are you taking the Prozac for depression, and the oxazepam for anxiety?

If that's the case, it sounds like you're still having a bit of anxiety. Maybe you should tell your doctor whats going on and see what he/she says. Could be your dosage needs to be adjusted.

I take Wellbutrin for depression, but I'm taking 10mg of Prozac to help with the hot flashes, which I might add is helping quite a bit! Not sure about this real cold feeling you got going on, but I think I would be talking to the doctor about all of it.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I don't know if it is a side affect of Prozac because I always get the chills after I have a hot flash. You may want to speak to your doctor because I heard that could be a sign of anemia

Do you need to move your legs when you get into bed or are you moving your whole body?
