This anxiety and nervousness just has to come from the erratic flux of estrogen as we approach post. It is just my observation. Anyone else feel this way????

If so, do you think it WILL finally settle down once the estrogen levels out???? I sure do hope so. I remember having so much of this same anxiety during puberty and thank goodness that settled down, so this will too, right?????

hoping and praying for a miracle,

Perimenopause is puberty in reverse, mainly due to fluxing estrogen and anovulatory cycles, aka hormonal imbalance.
It is a documented fact, and if you look back, the emotional turmoil we went through during puberty, is similar to perimenopause: crying spells, mood swings, anger, rages, irritability, heart palps, cramps, etc.
The difference is, it takes less time to feel better during puberty, once hormonal pulses become less prominent and flatten out, and also, consider our body is much younger and not warned out.
I belive it will, I recall my mother climbing walls with anxiety and mood swings, insomnia, palps, jitters, but then eventually, it all leveled out.
I remember her telling me when she is alive, that it is all hormonal and it shall pass, so I am waiting patiently.
Eevery women is different, some young girls never became balanced and experience bad PMS for life.
But I firmly believe that anxiety is estrogen related, once our body runs out of eggs and settles at lower level, anxiety should subside, this is a wishfull thinking. wink.gif
As I progress into menopause, I can tell that moodiness, anger, irritabiliy sort of lessen, the physical symptoms still prevail, but mental have lessened certainly.
Best of luck to all of us,
I.
