Hi Girls!I went to the Dr. today, was having some back pain. Thought it was associated with a kidney infection. My back wasn't hurting in the usual spots. My urine came back clean!Which I am happy about! One less thing to deal with smile.gif I went a few months ago & I had talked to her about back & hip pain. My knees have hurt forever, and at the time my back & hips were the most painful. She gave me some samples which did nothing for the pain. SO, I have been taking 6 ibuprofens a day to cut the pain throughout the day. I told her that my knees hurt all the time as well, went into further detail about being stiff when I sit for just a short while. When sitting on the floor, I pay for it, my back & knees are so stiff.

She had an xray done on my knees to see what was going on in that area. She said she could not read the xray fully, but did say, she didn't see any apparent signs of arthritis in my knee caps. Also, said that what concerned her was a bone in my leg was discolored? She asked if I had any injuries to my legs, which I haven't. She couldn't tell me what it was or what it means, said the radiologist would read it tomorrow. She referred me to an ortho dr. in the clinic, which I see in September.

So, I wonder if feeling much older than I am comes from needing to lose about 40 lbs. But, even in my skinnier days, my knees still hurt?

I'm not tooo worried, I do hope I hear something tomorrow as she won't be in until Monday!Just kinda curious as to what it could be, that makes your bones show up discolored in an xray?

Thanks for listening & any info given,
Amber

I know if your mom took Tetracycline while she was pregnant with you it can cause bone and teeth discoloration for you.My friend has this and her bones have circular rings of discoloration on her x-rays, not for sure though if this is the same thing.
