I have been reading, too...Not to be start a war, but take a look...I have some serious questions about the life-saver vaccine.
The swine flu vaccine contains a preservative made with mercury. Thimerosal is nearly 50% mercury.
Muti-dose vials of H1N1 vaccine contain this. If I remember correctly, in the mutli-dose vials, the FDA says it must contain it. (?????? ...I am pretty sure this is correct, but would have to look it up.)
.... compiments of ABC news...

“Thimerosal is a mercury-containing organic compound (an organomercurial). Since the 1930s, it has been widely used as a preservative in a number of biological and drug products, including many vaccines, to help prevent potentially life threatening contamination with harmful microbes. Over the past several years, because of an increasing awareness of the theoretical potential for neurotoxicity of even low levels of organomercurials and because of the increased number of thimerosal-containing vaccines that had been added to the infant immunization schedule, concerns about the use of thimerosal in vaccines and other products have been raised. Indeed, because of these concerns, the Food and Drug Administration has worked with, and continues to work with, vaccine manufacturers to reduce or eliminate thimerosal from vaccines. Thimerosal has been removed from or reduced to trace amounts in all vaccines ( ~just google what one contain mercury. You'll be surprised. Also, not what contries do not allow it at all.) routinely recommended for children 6 years of age and younger,
with the exception of inactivated influenza vaccine. ”
Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline, are using an adjuvant in their H1N1 vaccines. Depending on what company maufactures the vaccine, you might get squalene, which is an immune adjuvant that studies show that is can cause autoimmune disordes like rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and lupus. Animal studies using this adjuvant found them to be deadly. Hmmmm...Defense Department officials say there is no need for squalene in their H1N1 vaccine, which is a mandatory shot. Thank God!
As for D-3...many studies have just been released. It is a great supplement. In the Cambridge Journals, I read an old article by R. Edgar Hope-Simpson. Even years ago, doctors and researchers were taking a hard look at this supplement.
"In 1981, R. Edgar Hope-Simpson, proposed that a 'seasonal stimulus' intimately associated with solar radiation explained the remarkable seasonality of epidemic influenza. Solar radiation triggers robust seasonal vitamin D production in the skin; vitamin D deficiency is common in the winter, and activated vitamin D, 1,25(OH)2D, a steroid hormone, has profound effects on human immunity. 1,25(OH)2D acts as an immune system modulator, preventing excessive expression of inflammatory cytokines and increasing the 'oxidative burst' potential of macrophages. Perhaps most importantly, it dramatically stimulates the expression of potent anti-microbial peptides, which exist in neutrophils, monocytes, natural killer cells, and in epithelial cells lining the respiratory tract where they play a major role in protecting the lung from infection. Volunteers inoculated with live attenuated influenza virus are more likely to develop fever and serological evidence of an immune response in the winter. Vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory infections. Ultraviolet radiation (either from artificial sources or from sunlight) reduces the incidence of viral respiratory infections, as does cod liver oil (which contains vitamin D). An interventional study showed that vitamin D reduces the incidence of respiratory infections in children. We conclude that vitamin D, or lack of it, may be Hope-Simpson's 'seasonal stimulus'."
New studies that have been recently release demonstrate that D-3 does more that just help prevent fractures in the elderly.
There are many great research paper and articles. Their was one article by Dr. Jim Manganiello, that was very easy to read.
He condensed the information...
"Studies show that optimal vitamin D3 levels have a favorable impact on many health risks and life problems. Here's some of what the research shows:
Cancer: The farther away from the equator, the greater the cancer rates. Leading vitamin D expert Dr. William Grant estimates that if D3 levels were higher, 2 million cancer deaths per year could be prevented.
Coronary heart disease: Low levels of vitamin D double the risk of heart attack and premature death.
Autoimmune diseases: Rheumatoid arthritis, Type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis are all more prevalent in people with deficient vitamin D levels.
High blood pressure and stroke: Decreased vitamin D stimulates parathyroid hormone, which raises blood pressure. Vitamin D inhibits mechanisms that raise blood pressure.
Depression: Reduced sunlight exposure and depression go hand in hand. Studies show that increased vitamin D blood levels reduce the incidence of depression in older adults.
Diabetes: A Finnish study showed that children who took vitamin D supplements in childhood had 10 times less incidence of diabetes as adults.
Susceptibility to infection: Vitamin D produces 200 plus antimicrobial peptides that fight infections."I'll keep reading...and I don't think I want to be first in the flu shot line....and if I do decided to take it, I will want to know what company made it!
