I know some of the original girls are in their early 60’s now and was wondering if their daughters are peri yet? Horrid thought to think of our daughters suffering like some of us have!!!!

My daughter is just 31 but I’m very open with her> don’t want her shock about what can happened! Plus I’m keeping a journal-articles, my favorite books, etc to give to her. I pray she will never need them but just in case!

I try to recall anything my own Mother may have said about menopause. Herself nothing only thing I remember is the heavy bleeding she experience. She did say once her sister was nuts and was taking hrt’s.
With my Mother gone I actually visit my Aunt last year> made a special trip to see what info she would tell me> I got N-O-T-H-I-N-G!

I kept bring it up and she kept changing the subject. Don’t think she was avoiding me but like childbirth perimeno is forgotten once your post?

Dear 'Snowmoon'
I too keep my daughter informed as no-one told me a thing. If it weren't for this Forum I would be in an asylum by now
Actually I do have some friends who remember Peri and also finding Post pretty stressful too.
I told my daughter to check out Power-Surge.She is 35 and as I was fully Post at 39 believe she has the right to be as well informed as possible
So good for you
At least this generation will be better informed than we ever were.

God Bless
Elizabeth

I am glad to hear that you all are saving information for your daughters. I am too. I am keeping a daily journal as well as all the information from here and all the books. Plus we talk alot so I let her know what is going on.

Lord knows I do not want her to be blindsided by this like I was.

Hugs to you,
Jeaninne
