Wow! I will try to make a long story short...

I have been taking estratest hs...now they are no longer manufacturing it and I have to find an alternative. I found this site and was going to ask what people are going to use now for that alternative? And I sm still wanting to know the answer to that question.

But in addition....

I read all the notes about palpitations and internal shaking, etc... I am NOT ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!! I find some comfort in that, LOL! I have been calling it this "jiggy feeling", trying to tell the Dr. and he has done all sorts of tests...heart...BP...etc. I am perfectly fine, says he! NOT! I hate this feeling and it so affects my life.

When I am take the estratest hs I do not have this feeling, but when I take the premarin I have the feeling. Now I am wondering if it because the dosage on the premarin is wrong? MY Gyn office did suggest a office procedure every 6 months where they put pellets inside the skin (an alternative to the estatest hs) and then the body uses it up and you go in for a refill, but that doesn't excite me very much. Maybe I need to go see the GYN and chat more (his office called me because of the manufacturer no longer producing the estratest).

Any input for this jiggy woman? LOL

It could be the Premarin. It has some horrible side effects and is not generally a first choice for women these days as it is made from horses urine. The bioidenticals are supposed to be better.
I, myself tried Premarin cream a while back as a last resort as I was having trouble finding anything that didn't make me feel terrible.
I thought I had found a magic bullet at first because it didn't hype me up as the bios do and it increased my libido.
However with each passing day I became more and more depressed and eventually my libido disappeared. I couldn't think straight and I had terrible nightmares.
Estratest has testosterone in it but there is no testosterone in Premarin so that could also be having an effect ?

A suggestion. Look for a bioidentical estradiol. There is a compounding pharmacy linked to this site-Bellevue who can help you with the right dose and supply it for you. Ask for a compounded testosterone too at the correct low dose. You can keep them separate and add in the testosterone as needed. Maybe then you will lose the "jiggy feeling".

Good luck smile.gif
