51 is not that old to still be going on. I will be 55 and they are still with me which is odd since my mom had hers in her late 40s like most women do.

Feeling the same way here about this Chit. Few more months and here I will hit 52 and wondering the same. This past week though I had a meltdown and believe it may have been due to hormonal bit and looks like no period this month haven't skipped one in over a year now, have had a couple missed ones a couple 10 days apart a year ago. So past year has been the every 21-30 days and having one. Thought maybe due to starting periods at age 11 this would have let up and been over for me sooner. Im worn out

Maybe the end of this trip is close to coming can hope anyway

ladies,
I know not having a period for 6 years is great I admit, but the anxiety and depression is still there. Along with insomnia and sometimes down right fear. I'm 46 and feel much much older. I truely feel it doesn't get better with every body.
(((((hugs))))

Hey Lizard, I am 55 and still not officially post. I skipped 9 months last year, but then started again. I have gone 8 months this time around, but am spotting this week. I think the spotting has been caused by taking progesterone. I tried the progesterone hoping it would help with insomnia and moodiness. All it did for me was cause my anxeity to explode. I stopped taking it and hope I get back to the way I was. But you are not alone in thinking it should be over for someone our age. It stinks. Patsy

Well so much for wishful thinking, of course this is a late one

. Yeah probably be in my 70's or 80's before getting through this, if i should even live that long.
