Since my periods are getting heavier, I'm wondering if low iron can cause some of the internal shaking?
My iron level falls within the normal range when tested. I take a Women's One a Day vitamin containing 18 mg iron, (as well as extra magnesium 250-500 mg). Maybe it wouldn't hurt to try a little extra iron at least some days of the month? I've read too much iron can cause problems, so I'm leary.

If I might add a thought here. I have no periods due to a hysterectomy and my internal tremors are awful. So not sure if it might be iron related or not?

I think that's doubtful. My iron was so low I had to have injections twice weekly for 6 weeks and I have the tremors/shakes from time to time also but since my iron came back up it hasn't made any difference to these. I just feel less exhausted and not so short of breath.
Hope this helps.
Note - if you have an attack and you can - lying down for 30 minutes helps tremendously as it gives the liver a chance to release glucose into the bloodstream. that's why sometime even when you've just eaten you can get them - you need to rest/digest and let the liver do it's work.
I'm thinking of and with everybody on here - my symptoms are so unbearable it's runing my life and I'm on an estrogen patch and it's not doing a thing. I hate this. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I was diagnosed just a few months ago with severe anemia and I do NOT have the internal shakes. Not even sure what they would feel like.
Hope you get your iron levels up quickly. It's a horrible way to live.
