Hi gals,

I was busy cleaning out the office today so doing alot of bending over. It is also very warm today so wondering if humidity has a part in this?
I noted that each time I bend over I get a pressure/discomfort in both temples.....it felt odd...and of course freaked me out cause now I am sure it must be a brain tumor or something! ohmy.gif
Anyone else experience this? The only thing I can relate it to is that hangover headache that some of us used to get in our younger years....ha ha.....you know the type....bend over and think you are going to pass out.

Just looking for some reassurance ladies. rolleyes.gif

I just wanted to give you my support..I just posted about my migraine with the same fears as you ;0

Sounds like it could be tension??

I get that too, sometimes it will feel like a band around my head too.

Hope you are feeling better..hugs.

Are you getting the pressure anywhere else, like just above or below your eyes???

The reason why I bring this up, is that you mention you get it when bending over... I can get this during allergy season, it is the excess drainage from my allergies. Esp when it is above your eyes, you may not feel the congestion like you would w/a cold, but if it is your sinus (especially w/cleaning out your office) something to thing about...

Strange...above my eyes (eyebrow area) was really tender yesterday....I kept trying to figure out if I had bumped my head and could not recall it. Good point Becca. I have no runny nose....have woken a bit stuffy this past week.
Thanks hon.

FYI the tenderness is classic for sinus!!! Trust me, we (son & I) get every year... Don't be surprised in a day or two you start to get clear liquid from your nose. With the tenderness surely sounds like sinus.... If you upper teeth start hurting, could be getting a sinus infection...

Hey perhaps try some benadryl, or sometimes just a hot steam helps to. Oh yea, take a wash clothe, get it real warm, the place it over your eyes (from eyebrows to below) see if that helps....

I have chronic sinusitis and allergies and you have the classic symptoms. It is not fun. I get it all the time. Sleeping by turning my head side to side all night long. Benadryl may help, decongestants do too, but they make me jittery, so I avoid them but they work best. Warm compresses are good too, like becca said. I also take an eye cover thingy and put it in the freezer and rest it over my eyes, it feels fabulous, you know the ones in the drug store? I can't remember what they are called, but they help too.

Feel better.

You bring up a great point..... decongestants... ahhh... I can not take them at all.. The only ones that I can tolerate is sudafed, but to a mininum... The worst exp I ever had was Zyrtex w/Decongestant... Ahhhh....

I woke up this morning with a completely stuffed right nostril! I cannot take decongestants.....believe it or not even Gravol with its mild decongestant effect sends me off the panic attack rails....so for me its Buckleys white rub all over my face....burns but does relieve the sinus pain. ohmy.gif

Well, there ya go...

Don't know if you take any supplements, but you may want to load up on Vit C & Zinc, just incase it tries to develope into a sinus infection, man those can be horrible...

I work in a high school, and w/everything that flys around there, if I feel one coming on I would drink Airborne (you know that stuff developed by a teacher), don't make me gittery and it's all natural. Seems to help... But at the least, drink plenty of orange juice and get as much c as you can.... There is the other stuff, it's a drink, called Power C I believe it is made by Ottawa (not sure on the spelling), taste really good, each serving is 1000% rda of C...

Hot soup will help to, believe it or not, helps open the passages.. That's what you really want to try and keep open to promote drainage..

Try to get bathroom hot and steamy, may help (as long as that ain't one those rooms we can't stand to be in ohmy.gif ) Feel better sweetie, hey look at the bright side, at least you know... Trust me I get it.. I will get like a sore throat or the start of one, and think OMGish what is it, what's wrong, ah beck it's your sinuses draining to the back of your throat when you are sleeping.... (Then I proceed to tell my mind, SHUT UP...LOL)
