Hi, I have posted on here a few times and you girls have always helped me lots. But now I seem to have something else that is puzzling me. I have over the past few years suffered with hot flushes to the face, which comes over me all of a sudden and then disappears within five minutes or so, so I know what they are. But now its like a very hot face, which feels like my eyes are closing, even though to look at me in the mirror you cant tell that there is anything wrong, with a cold shivery body feeling. I have had this now for about a week, I seem to remember feeling somewhat like this before, but not numerous times a day. Havent had a period since the end of May, which is nothing new , although my last few before then was every three weeks.
Does this sound familiar to anyone please. Your feedback would help me to understand it a bit more. Thanks Girls.

hi angie,
just wanted you to know that i have experienced similar flashing (think i posted awhile ago under 'blowtorch head/artic body). i don't get it really often, but when i do, it is often more than one episode in a day - can't recall what my cycles were like at the time (mine range from 17 to 60+ days) or even where i was at in the cycle. just that i had alot of symptoms going on at the same time - like fatigue/pain/head fog/etc.
not sure that this will help your understanding, since i sure don't understand it. but hope it doesn't linger too long for you!
hugs, ellen

Hi Ellen and thankyou for responding to me. Yes that is exactly what it is like, I hate it, it makes me feel sick as well, although I do suffer with nausea quite a lot too. I just wish all this peri-menopause would go, I've had it now for about 4 years and it is doing my head in. Havent had a holiday for 6 years down to feeling unwell.
But once again thank you for answering me, it makes me feel more contented knowing I am not alone in this. Hopeyou are OK today.
