I was wondering if the use of natural progesterone could be the cause of my very unwanted facial hair, especially on the chin area? I've been using the cream for a few years (with problems) and think there is a connection with the thick hairs I have been getting on my chin. If this is the case, does anybody know why this would happen? Does progesterone affect my testosterone levels? I did not have the hair problem prior to starting on the cream.

Natural progesterone has androgenic properties, and it competes with estrogen for receptors, so overall, without plenty of estradiol, progesterone in any form can have androgenic effect.
