DD is having her cousin spend the night. She doesn't know it yet but that will be the last one of the summer. Like I said before having "extra" kids wears me out!! 14yr olds at that!

I want to enjoy the rest of my summer weekends doing what I want.

I hear you, Fried! My kids are grown now so this isn't an issue anymore for me but I remember all too well when it was. The girls were always wanting to have someone over and I almost always said "yes" but I dreaded it most of the time. I just didn't want to be responsible for any more kids than I already was. thankfully, my kids outgrew this before I hit peri!!! although, now my one daughter brings her friends/boyfriend home for breaks and they are here for days. I've pretty much accepted this and now I don't worry too much about how I"m dressed when they are here. nightgown and robe doesn't bother me so they best get used to it! Ha ha! enjoy the rest of your summer in peace and quiet!!!
