Hi Ladies...I am proud to say this morning that I reached the big mile stone....I have passed the one year mark without a cycle. I am thrilled. It has been a long and tough road but I do hope I see I am feeling better in a lot of ways.
I am always here to help others along the way. I say hang in there you will get where I am today. Blessings to all who have helped me along the way. I feel truly blessed to have found this wonderful website. Without it I don't know where I would be.

LOL, I had to read yours twice... No offense to anyone, but there is an old saying in my neck of the woods.... That dude went postal.... Meaning, well nuts, again, no offense.... So I am reading it, saying hey postal pretty much sums up peri,,, but she celebrated, but then I read it again, and said, oh.... now i get it.... I want to be postal too....

hey Deb,

thats great! I hope for you that means things will turn around and you will feel good again! Funny how for so many, menopause is the relieve...it is peri that causes the nightmare...while for others peri is "do-able", if not great, but menopause is the nightmare.

Go out and celebrate, you survived "THE CHANGE"!! lol!!

Hey Deb, That's terrific and definitely something to celebrate. Grab that champagne and guzzle some down for the rest of us who are still "ladies in waiting"! Let's pray that we all go postal soon too! laugh.gif I, for one can't wait! I'm sick of this crap.

Congratulations! Now you need to do something very nice for yourself. Have a girl's night out, buy some coveted pretty underwear, whatever your heart desires because YOU are worth it and YOU earned it! cool.gif

To commemorate making it one year without a period last September, I bought tickets for myself and my friend to see Menopause, the Musical and then we went out for appetizers and drinks afterward. We had a blast and what an awesome way to close that chapter of my life. I can't believe I'm coming up on two years of not having a period and you know what? I feel great!

Being the new kid on the block, I have to ask. Once you are considered menopausal (having no period for one year, right?), does that mean all the rest of this crap goes away??? If so, I got something to look forward to!!! biggrin.gif

Congrats to you! If you hear footsteps behind you, I can only hope it's me. I still have a ways to go I guess and hanging on by a thread.

I can't wait to make that victorious post saying "Free at last, thank the Lord, I'm free at last!"

Congratulations Deb....
