Hey ladies,

Yesterday afternoon, my daughter was admitted to the hospital to be induced as her blood pressure was shooting up..3 weeks early but we we hopeful all was going well....

At the same time, my son's best friend's grandpa (a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man) was pronounced brain dead after a head injury he suffered over the weekend and his family was gathering at the hospital waiting to turn off the life support ...

I went with my son to see his friend and the family, and in their pain, told us to go and welcome our new life as the time for their loved one to go was coming soon...in tears, we said our goodbyes and rushed over to the labor floor to see our daughter/sister and things went quickly from there...

An hour later, this dear man passed on.....3 hours later, our new granddaughter arrived.....

The baby's doing great...just talked to my daughter and she's trying to get the breast feeding going...

Life and death....tears of joy and sadness, all in one evening....

My heart is bursting with joy and sadness...
