Hi everyone,

lets start a list of all the things that make you cry.........it will be funny, sad, familiar and downright freaky the things we cry over.......having never been a cryer, I spend my life now in a constant state of sinus. My therapist says it is good "It is about time you started feeling, Michah. You are having a terrible, grief-stricken time. Start pushing those tears out!!".

here we go.......

Red land crabs in some remote island walking km's to get to the ocean to spawn. And when they have encountered all the predators and cars on roads in the world, some drown in an amazing attempt to procreate. Yep, that bends me.

Sunsets/sunrises

Hurt animals

My white sheets with a pink stain from washing

Ghost Whisperer - TV show

Anything with Sir David Attenborough in it(I LOVE that man)

My son getting taller........with more attitude

Body pain

The lack of my once agile mind

My parents

Fear

Mortality

People

Lack of conservation

Wealth

The way my chihuahua looks at me with her big brown eyes, like she has known me before

I am sure I will think of some more........come on, lovelies........pour it all out. wub.gif

A big prayer to all those whose family members are severely unwell or not with them at this time........Thinking of you all xxxxx wub.gif

I hope everyone didn't get too sad........you can also cry with happiness as well........like a bittersweet sort of sadness.......I seem to pine a lot for home......but I have no idea where home is, just a general kind of homesickness. I am most comfortable running through the bush in the dead of night with a low, full moon.......let the howling begin.

I am a strange creature........ tongue.gif

Everything, just about-can get me going. Most recently the loss of a close friendship. We were so much alike and now I don't think we have much in common at all. I should have been the one to recognize all the meno symptoms she's going through. But I don't care to even go on with this 30+ friendship anymore. Tired of always reaching out and I was the negative one, I guess. It just gets my tears going when I think about it.
I have been emo today and I hate it.
So, seeing this posts makes me cry.
Sorry. Tomorrow will be better, right???

Tomorrow is always "different" sweets.......think little of being better or worse, no expectations.......I am sorry to hear about your friend, sometimes some distance brings clarity.......

You take real good care, babe.......be very loving to yourself.

Moonlight, give us some tips would you sad.gif Crying makes me feel shocking........do you cry when things upset you at the time or do you build it up like I do? It is like I am missing some mechanism to cry when it is appropriate.......

yep, crying is an enigma.......I only wish I could do it more, I might get used to it........crying just feels like more trauma.

Thanks for your input babe smile.gif

thank you Micah.
I went off subject a little.
I want to say that crying for me is also very theraputic. I don't always hold back with the tears, sometimes I apologize when I know it's made others uncomfortable. Sometimes I think it might open a way for them to let go, too. Depending on the circ**stance.
Why do we not (and I mean that in general terms,) just show true emotions more? I don't give a rip if some folks see me as weak, over sensitive, over emotional. I know when there's a lack of emo-it can be just as bad or worse. Not saying you missing anything, Mic. Like tomorrows-everyone is different.

I could list many serious things that make me cry, but I don't want to go too far down that road today.

For purposes of this survey, I'll answer with this:

Used Christmas trees laying on the curb waiting for pickup. Or house plants discarded with the trash.

Any living thing that has been left to die, basically.....
alinam
Wondering where the old "me" went, watching my children grow so fast and knowing I can never get that back again, my husband (not intentionally), wondering why my Dad left us without even saying good-bye, living from paycheck to paycheck, when the house is a disaster and I don't have the strength to do a thing about it, when my friends ask me how I'm doing (reminds me that I'm not doing any better), when I have a "good" day and the next day I feel like I'm back at square one.

Also, reading posts of women who are suffering just like me.

I love to watch movies that make me cry...sometimes i set aside a "depressed/crying" time....a time where i can be by myself and just think...and cry.May sound weird to plan crying spells, but like i said,i like crying,i feel it cleanses my body and soul. And yes,i do cry sometimes when i'm upset about something, but mostly i make myself cry for emotional release...it also helps clear the sinus cavities and helps with allergy/dry eyes.
