The other day... I had a new hot flash experience. The left side of my face became extremely hot/bright red... And the left ear too! was not red but purple-red and fire hot!! The right side of my face was warm to the touch, but the left was ON FIRE! It lasted about 15 minutes. I waited for the torrential down pour of perspiration, but no, nothing. I've never experienced a one-sided flash before!?! Anybody else?

Yup, I,ve had the ear buisness, like you burning hot to look at and touch,lasts about the same time too!!!

I get more odd symptoms on my left side than the right but never had a one sided hot flash either! Ask your doctor before chalking it up to peri!

Yes. I have had a hot flash in one ear. it turns beat red. A dr will think your crazy.

For many years hot flashes for me consisted of horrid sweats, then it was like overnight I began feeling like my body was literally on fire. That only seems to happen when I have an unexpected upset. Something I had never experienced before. I am learning not to be surprised about much of anything anymore!
