Hi Ladies - In the past couple of months I have been experiencing this new weird internal vibration I guess you could say at night, when I am laying down either trying to relax or go to sleep.
It feels like one side of face is buzzing/vibrating. Sometimes, it feels stronger than other times. It seems to hit me on my left side and near my eye, cheek area?
Does anyone else get this kind of sensation in their head or face?
I have had alot of tests already in the past year so I am NOT going back to the doctor. I had an MRI in March, all was normal.
I am still getting the jerking/jolts at night too....joy oh joy. And, oh don't let me forget ( because my memory is not the sharpest tool in the shed lately..) I have been getting pops or grunt like noises in my head sometimes as I fall asleep!
I can go for a time and all is quiet, then bam, it all hits me again.
Thoughts? Do you really think this is hormonal? I feel like an "old" 42 year old woman sometimes..stinks.
Thanks for reading and I would greatly appreciate your advice.
Take care
Sunny~
Hi Sunny,
Yeah, that's happened to me as well....... I've had the shakes ALL OVER! you name it, you can call it internal shaking, vibrating, tremors.... i don't care, i've had it! For pete sake, i've had it in my brain! I know that may sound funny, but that was the feeling, it didn't feel like it was vibrating in my head...it felt like MY BRAIN was vibrating.... that was fun! Scared the daylights out of me ....it's actually happened a few more times after that over the years, but with each time, it gets less. I've had the vibrating feeling on my face too, like you. It can be on any side really, but in the beginning of peri, EVERYTHING WAS ON THE LEFT! All my symptoms, were on the left side, it was incredible! But now...they don't discriminate....they just blast me anywhere in my body ... lol ... the vibrating and shaking can be one of the more scary symptoms, i think. You think you're having a stroke! I also get the jolts when i try to fall asleep .... now, that can be from hormones, OR it can be anxiety.... so, take your pick. Yes, it CAN be silent for a while, and then, suddenly, hit you again, most of the symptoms do that ... just when you think you're over it .. it comes back.
I hope this helps .. and don't worry, you're not alone in this! I'm surprised nobody picked up on this with you, but, I think others will .... it's happened to me a few times too, that nobody answered, .... it happens. But, if I were you, i stay here, you can learn a lot here, and usually, everyone is very supportive.....
