what do you guys do to create something 'different' in your life besides the 'hum drum' of everyday stuff? thanks and huggggggggs to all today

I have the same feeling especially summertime when I'm not working (school employee) and everyone else is....

It doesn't help that I'm emotionally down in the dumps too right now so picking up one foot after the other feels like a big chore....

Hubbie and I were watching Ice Road Truckers last night and there are people whose job is to go out and blast the mts to force avalanches and I looked at him and said "Wow, someone whose job in life is exciting..."

Boredom is an real problem for me and the inability to get off my own arse is making even worse this summer....

I KNOW there are a ton of things I could be doing for myself, others, etc...but here I sit at the computer whining away

Yup, School employee here too! And what have I done this summer?? Well...............I did move, but that's ALL I have done!! Not one single thing that would be considered enjoyable! NOT ONE!!!

Weeeellll, princess, I HAVE done the SkyCoaster thing in the jungles of Destin, FL. You know, the one where they drag you straight up into the air, TWENTY stories high and then drop you face first at 60 mph into the concrete and just when you thought your life was over, you get jerked up towards the sky again. It woulda been much more kind to have just LET ME HIT THE CONCRETE!!!

Maybe that's why I haven't been back out there!

I'll take you up on the Africa trip but I'll do more the safari thing....ME? Bungee jumping???????hahahahahahaah not on your life!!!!! I get dizzy looking out windows.....lololol

I am a 'princess' and i am NOT supposed to live this way. I was meant to have servants and somebody to fan me and feed me chocolates! where did I go wrong! Somebody put me in the wrong place! Now,............... if I could just put one foot in front of the other - I could get something done today! I'm there too...no get up and go. When I do go out I try to stop at one of my neice's or nephew's house where there are babies. It almost always makes me feel better to play with them, problem is the going out part. I ususally have to really need to go out for some reason (appt, store) to get my butt moving.

Zip lining is fun!!!!
