Anyone had success with isoflavones for meno symptoms? My hot flushes, insomnia, fatigue is over the top right now and what I've been doing doesn't seem to be as affective.

My very first supply of RevivalSoy came today (EXPENSIVE!) so I have to give it a go before I can say yay/nay to it. I will report every week as to its affects.

I took HRT (for YEARS) and now have breast cancer thus the change to alternatives. What a bloody witch hunt. My GYN told me stop taking HRT and I said, "Ok, so what dtakes its place?" She is still researching an answer and it has been 2 months!

I yelled at her, saying:
"You've got to be bloody kidding me! You people: 1) tell us we have breast cancer 2) we can no longer use HRT 3) there are ZILCH alternatives to suggest! I CANNOT be the only woman in this predicament!"

Then, I bumped in to this site and discovered I was right. I am NOT the only woman in this predicament. This is a VERY naughty thing for me to say BUT! if they'd still give it to me, I'D STILL TAKE IT!!!! dry.gif
She gave me an Rx for Clonidine which the ladies of this site have pretty much answered my question: DON'T BOTHER! grrrrrrr

Until later....

Yikes. I'm sorry to hear you went on HRT and then discovered you had cancer - are you OK? You can't be serious that you'd take it again?! There are NO alternatives except alot of trial and error (more error I'm afraid), and no two females will benefit from the same mixture of "stuff" to feel better... I can go one day and feel alright, and then a week of feeling hideous, then a couple of days of being myself, then a month of wishing I were dead - try to switch, change, experiment - its all crapshoot really, and all we can do is support each other and by the grace of the gods get through it somehow!
