Is anyone else having this problem? Before my hysterectomy, I ate 2 sometimes 3 x a day the normal way and now I want to snack late at night. During the day I am always thinking of getting something to eat if I am not busy. What is this?!? I had a total hysterectomy and I'm not on HRT. Help!

I am like that especially when i get in bed at night. I then realize or think i am hungry and want to snack. Sometimes i force myself not to get up for that snack. I am on an AD which added weight to me and also boost my appetite. Like right now i am thinking of a snack more then likely i will get one, But i am real sleepy so maybe not. Sometimes just drinking a big glass of water or juice can help. Hugs Terry

Yes!!! Isn't it awful? I mean we know we should NOT do it...but do it anyway. I just hate feeling empty inside and have to come to terms with filling that void somehow another way!!!
Sigh

Yes, me too!! Ever since I have been taking an ad, it has increased my appetite so much, I have the urge to eat much more than ever before. I have to literally force myself not to eat all evening.

I don't have that problem, but try a glass of water instead of the first snack, it will fill up your stomach.

Thanks Carlyle and Lizardlover! I did try the glass of juice last night and that worked! I didn't wake up hungry. I think, too, having support from PS helps a lot.
Thx and Hugs to all of you!

WOW .. I have no clue .. stopped at Jacks on the way home from work.. got their chicken chibatta ,, then went to Baskins and Robbins for a hot fudge sundae .. orderd my kids pizza and pasta from Pizza hut and pigged out on the pasta .. ITS LIKE IM PREGNANT .. I can barley fit into my fat jeans and Im going on vacation .. I know part of it is stress .. I run in that mismanaged state on the west coast .. and we voted on furloughs vs layoffs today ,, so I think thats part of it.

I'm right there with the rest of you! My problem is the nighttime snacking also. Last night at 11 PM, I was looking for something else to eat! I had a bowl of cereal, which is better than what I usually reach for, like ice cream!
