I am taking acidophilus, vitamins called juice plus,co-q10, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin b, magnesium, omega 3 and I am wondering if that is too much to take.

Hi Cheri,
Anything that we take as a supplement is a potential risk. They are all 'chemicals' in one way or another. Even herbs can cause aggressive cancers. Black Cohosh has been shown to be very toxic to the liver.
If you feel great on your present regime then that is probably OK but you will need to listen to your body very carefully. Unless we are in a deficiency state we should not need all these supplements. The body is very good at identifying excess and dumping it out in the urine but that might just be giving your systems more stress, as well as wasting money. Sometimes the value of vitamins is mainly placebo in effect and can be dictated by present fashions. My Dad is approaching 90, still drives and has a job. He has never taken a vitamin in his life!
I say replace proven deficiencies but otherwise keep it as simple as possible. I do think that fish liver oils are benificial.
If you find something that really does make you feel great, keep on taking it!
