Past 3 or 4 days about once a day I've been getting what I can only describe as a zap or power surge in my head... it usually feels like it originates at the base of my skull where it joins the spine. Some of them are very slightly painful, but not enough to call it a headache... the stunning effect of the zap is much more significant than the negligible pain. Is this a power surge or is it tension or nerve related? Anyone else get these?

Oh... well it's not that. I've had this before but last time it was in the front of my head. I'm pretty sure it was sinuses. Maybe this time it's just tension... could be I need a new pillow, lol

Could it be symptom #29 on the menopause list?

Electric shock sensation under the skin and in the head

Had them, kinda strange until you figure out they are harmless!

Use to have them all the time, now every once in a great while. They do go away...which these stupid hormone surges would go away!

Had head zaps real weired, don,t last long, also had very tender areas in head almost like over sensitised area??

Recent had what thought was head lice creeping crawling things in head except the creepy crawling things weren,t there????

Bizzare.

I get this on my arms and face sometimes, feels like an annoying hair tickling, and there is no annoying hair. How annoying

Hmmm saying annoying must be my latest symptom???

Good day girls

Oh I used to think they were an all over body thing, wasn't sure they could be localized in your head. rolleyes.gif I've only had them for a few days and they don't last long anyway, just a zap here or there every hour or couple of hours or so. Not really painful just annoying and attention grabbing. I hate them less than the palpitations. dry.gif Oh I've had the crawling sensations too, in fact they stopped just before the zaps started!
