Hi! I am new here. I need advice ASAP! I am 34 years old. I lost a baby in 1997 and had my son in 2001. I had tubal ligation with Novasure in 2005. I had an IUD for 1 year right before the tubal. I had a large ovarian cyst removed in 2000. The Novasure was because my periods were very heavy for several years after I had my son. They were never heavy before. Well the Novasure helped but didn't take them completely away. Everything was fine until about a year ago. I found out after a pap test that I had BV. I took the meds and thought I was fine. Now I have horrible and I mean really horrible pain for about 2 days DURING menstration. It is usually day 3-4. The pain is very sharp and stabbing on one side for a day and next day I bloat up and just hurt everywhere and then it all goes away. I just had an ultrasound and I knew for sure that I had another large cyst because when I had one before it was a sharp pain but the ultrasound showed everything with ovaries looked fine and linings looked fine, etc. The problem found was tubal fluid causing swelling of the tubes. The ultrasound was done on day 5 right after the pain had stopped. My dr. wants to do a hysto because of previous problems, etc. He says he can do the easier type and I will be fine. Unfortunately I have some financial problems right now and can't really afford to be out of work or the high insurance copays right now. But mostly I am scared of HRT. I also have had alot of breast issues over the years and I am scared to death of anything that might increase my risk of breat cancer. I could just have the tubes removed but them I am still out of work with large hospital bill. Has any experienced any similar? Thank you for reading this.
