Got up very late this morning. Had TWO instead of my usual ONE cup of coffee. Got a few phone calls made, unloaded the dishwasher, moved a few boxes around, began feeling extremely agitated, then dizzy and nauseated, sweat began POURING. Thought I was gonna pass out. Started shoveling food in, thinking my blood sugar was low or something. I am not hypoglycemic, at least I don't think so. I've had just about every test you can think of for just about every stinking symptom known to man and animal! Went and layed down, out of fear that I would pass out on the kitchen floor, and I SLEPT til almost 4:00 o'clock!!!

What in the name of Sam Hill is wrong with me???

Either you have picked up a virus or you should have stuck with the usual one cup of java. Coffee will do this to me in a heartbeat if I over do it!! Hope u feel better soon. xo

All those symptoms sounds like an Hypoglycemic episode to me.I was having them on and off and for the life of me could not figure out what was wrong with me.I bought a 20.00$ glucose meter with 50 free strips from wal-mart and started checking it whenever I would have those episodes and shure enough my Blood sugar was 57 !!! Some mornings I wake up feeling anxious and sick ,I test and yupp !! My blood sugar is in the 60's.I found that anytime it's below 80 I just dont feel good at all.I am not a diabetic and have never had any kind of blood sugar issues before now.The highest it has ever gotten was 104 and that was after I had eaten a fatty dinner and a fudge brownie sunday from braums ohmy.gif So you might want to keep an eye on it,hope you find the culprit soon.

I have never had coffee do this to me, but then again, I have NOT had 2 cups of coffee in one day in a very long time. One thing is for sure, I will not be trying that again any time soon............or later for that matter.

nikki, Now that you mention it, I had an episode a few months back that REALLY scared the sugar outa me. I was out for a long walk with my parents. I did a very stupid thing and had NOT eaten before we went. About 3/4 of the way through, I began to have pretty much the same symptoms as today and I thought for sure I was gonna find my way home in an ambulance or a hearse if I had fallen and hit my head on the concrete. It was VERY scarey! I was not able to drive home, but had to sit for a good 2 hours or so before being able to get up and go.

TW,

Why don't you get a test kit and do what nikki did. It could be that you do have a bit of a sugar issue. I can also see coffee doing that to a certain degree as well. It's worth looking into.

Hugs,
Karen

Karen, That is probably what I will do. I'm reluctant to do anything, just because every other test I have had done has come back normal and I'm beginning to feel like a hypochondriac. Is there a pill for that?? GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
