Hi ladies,

Because I had a hysterectomy in my 30th year I have no idea where in my cycle I am most of the time. My question is this.......my normal PMS symptoms years ago were fairly consistant. Now I seem to be having symptoms anywhere from once a month to three times a month....like I would be having three periods???? Am I making any sense here? I have noted that some of you have more than one period in a month. Does this also pull along the usual symptoms as you would get once a month??? Sorry....having a hard time trying to explain. Hoping you get it. lol. Thanks!~! rolleyes.gif

Good luck finding others that can understand what it is like to cycle without having a period! wink.gif I had a hyster last year and once a month I have a funky sort of spell and don't know if it is premenstrual, menstrual or post. I just blame it on the period that isn't there and not worry about it because I never could get anyone to help me figure it out lol.

Back in January I was having a lot of what I thought was menstrual cramps, that lower back feeling and heavy tummy aching sort of thing for days on end. My gyno felt maybe it was some scarring that could be causing it or that possibly the ovaries were kicking in more or even less.

Do you still have your ovaries? If you do and they are still trying to work I say it could be very likely you are having the same symptoms women who still bleed are as the ovaries start to shut down. If the ovaries are still there, have you had them checked lately?

Yes we did an ovarian ultrasound less than a year back. No issues that way. I also find that when these spells hit I get what feels like period type "muscle contractions" down into the vagina.......similar feeling to when the bleeding would be really heavy......u know that "everything is gonna fall out" feeling? Which strikes me odd....no uterus no cervix? Its like having a leg amputated and still having the phantom pain theory? I think I might just be strange. lol lol.
