What are the things in our lives that stress us out the most? What do we do to deal with those stressors? What are the ways you blow off steam, releas

What is stressing me out at the moment is health-related: my own and my dad's. I am dealing with losing him much sooner than I anticipated

Other stressors include work - very demanding boss, but fair. I have to learn to just go with the flow.

Right now I'm stressing out over all the details of our big move back to Texas next month. We've made cross-country moves before but we're a lot older now and I'm in the middle of peri so it's harder now. Way too much to do....and not enough time!
Also my husband has always stressed me out. Our personalities clash a lot and he drives me crazy.
As far as what I do to relax, I like to walk a lot, especially when the weather is as nice as it has been lately here. And my anxiety meds help also.

I seem to have a very tough time when people fuss and complain and argue. Not so much when it is written (like here at PS) as when my family verbalizes every itty bitty thing. If the tone of voice changes even the least bit, I tend to want to run and I basically shut down. I can't say anything. I completely close up and am almost immobilized. I hate it with a passion.
I relax by finding something that I enjoy on TV, but even that I can only take so much of.

Itches with a B in front, is what stresses me out! I deal with it by being the biggest itchy itch they have known : )~ ! Men just don't stress me out like some women can. The itty bitty pettiness does my brain in! I have one at work who is having a lifestyle complex and seems to take it out on anything that moves, she hates men, she hates women, hell she hates equally! I am the new girl however and she just hadn't met (understood) me yet until this week : )! I think I have scared her into niceness or silence...for now! I still go to sleep well at night though

! I would love my job if they would just remove this one thing!
Seriously contemplating tossing her my Xanax that is left over

Not feeling well stresses me out, like my current sinus infection and headache and so does not working much. My job coincides with the economy and needless to say, has slowed dramatically. I exercise at least five days a week and the occasional xanax helps when I am over the top. When I feel well I can handle most things.

Lately my doctor's office stressed me. I took a pap smear and urinalysis a month ago and no one called me back with results and bacteria was found in my urine. I went into the office on Friday and knew I would explode on them. I called them twice in a month, the receptionist said nurse would call me back. NEVER HAPPENED. So I went in on Friday and I yelled in the waiting room to the receptionist and I told her that I fired the doctor, that they are not courteous, and they are rude and I left with my medical records. Perhaps it was not the best way to deal with the situation, but anger seems to be my biggest issue since I turned 40. A friend told me lately sarcastically that he just loves to call me because I always seem to be mad at the world. Aren't you a funny guy. I dont know how I am handling it to be honest, because I have given up drinking dry wine as much as I used to.
