So, I was out walking and the air quality is sooo bad right now. I have never been diagnosed with asthma, but always had respiratory problems as a child. Anyway, I couldnt wait to get back home, I really had difficulty getting a breath. Luckily the ac at home helped but took a good 20 minutes before I felt better. I exercise 45 minutes a day, so I know it's not being out of shape. Does anyone else notice a change in breathing? I know I will keep an eye on it, that I won't let get away form me, I have tow kids with it, so I know how dangerous it can be.

Thanks

Jalyn
I was diagnosed with asthma last year after 4 years of peri. My grandma had temporary asthma during menopause as well. I'm not sure why this happened. It may be due to low cortisol due to the adrenals being fatigued. At least that's my theory. I was doing worse before I started on Armour for low thyroid as well. Now, I hardly ever get sort of breathe or wheeze.

XIII,
That article was very interesting. Thanks for posting it. It makes sense. Wow, I always thought my asthma had something to do with meno since I never had it before. Boy, meno wreaks havoc on us from all ends it seems!

It's so depressing though, isn't it. I just feel as though every part of my body is decaying....................................Is there nothing that Menopause doesn't ruin! mad.gif

Ditto to this!!!! I feel like I am falling apart at alarming pace. If my hormones ever settle, there will be not much left to enjoy the balance after all, LOL.
