Hi Nikki,

I am so sorry to hear this and I dont have an answer to your question. Who knows how or why the body goes through all these things. Did your doctor explain what might be the cause at such a young age? I am still trying to figure out whats happening in my body, with little success at the moment, but I just wanted to let you know that I read your post and I am hear for you...like you have all been for me.

I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know what the doctors say and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Sending hugs....

It is quite possible, it can be due to higher insulin level, if you have this condition, high insulin suppresses ovulation.
Or it could be you had this condition before without knowing it.
I know PCOS can be treated with Metformin and low carb diet, the less insulin in your system, more chance it will be resolved.
Progesterone also can help, based on fibroids seems you have more estrogen than your body can use.
Good luck,
HTH

Nikki: Did they SAY you have pcos, or just that you had a lot of cysts? Cysts come and go, and I can't imagine the technician making a diagnosis like that on his/her own. Or was your doctor who was there and said that? If it wasn't the doctor who said pcos, then you should just sit tight and wait for the results of the ultrasound rather than making a lot of assumptions. When I had one of those, we didn't go over the results until a week and a half or so after the ultrasound was done.
