hi ladies, first i just wanna say thanks to all of you for your replies. it's great having someone to talk to through all of this.

i am curious about tmj. is it a peri symptom? now i'm noticing some clicking noises when i swallow. sounds like it's coming from my ears. but not really sure. should this be yet another thing i should worry about?

I really don't have the answer, but I was diagnosed with tmj last year. All my years and not a problem, that I know of, until last year. I was also diagnosed with osteoarthritis last year. Wonder if there is any connection.

It may be tmj. I get clicking noises when I swallow too. It's also from my sinuses. When they are draining they seem to click when I swallow. I have arthritis in the jaw and it's been giving me lots of trouble lately. I think the weather is contributing to the problem along with really bad sinuses.

I was diagnosed with TMJ years ago...way before any peri symptoms. Sometimes these things are just a coincidence. Not EVERYTHING can be blamed on peri, IMO!
