Just curious ladies. My hormones are all at menopausal levels and haven't had a period in almost 4 months. Now all of a sudden my nipples are hyper sensitive. Does anyone have an explanation for this? It's downright painful, like early pregnancy painful.

Mine are like that too. Not all the time but they can be sensitive also. I haven't had a period since dec. 2. i am using progest cream so wonder if that might make them more sensitive.

I'm only using Estrace vag. cream once a week and have been for about a month. This just started a couple of days ago. It's just weird in an annoying sort of way. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Jeepers cats, our bodies are SO WEIRD sometimes! Why can't they just simmer down once and for all!

I have had this same thing happen 4 months ago which lasted a couple of months, noticed that along with that hyper sensitivity in the nipples,my breasts also felt more tender and hurt more then usual. Since then its been o.k and haven't noticed. It was very annoying just thought it might have been due to hormones of course, I still have not stopped the period bit either still having the whacky ones.
