I am an experienced anxiety "sufferer", but recently I feel like I want to gag - sometimes it happens when I'm talking. Fells like the back of my throat is slightly in spasm. Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks!

theres a bunch of weird throat stuff that starts happening when our hormones start to waine.. you can look around here ,, me its neck pains .. feeling like I cant swallow like theres something bulging in my throat. One lady here had a great suggestion .. she said ,, "I remind myself that I am breathing ,, so it must be ok !" ,,

not necissarily .. just as our voices change in puberty when we get our hormones (more noticable in boys then young girls but it definatly happens to us to), our voices change too as we loose them .. ever talk to a 60 - 70 year old woman,, the throat muscles are changing with our loss of hormones.

I had that at the beginning when my anxiety was at it's worse.Usually the morning I'd cough and then gag.I'de run to the toilet put wouldn't puke just gag.I think it's anxiety related, sometimes a good cry helped,It will pass. Lumz

Oh yuck yes..............I get this often. It is horrid. I almost feel like I might throw up.....which is unusual for me.
