rolleyes.gif Hello I'm new to the forums- though I've read for quite a while I just started posting today. Ladies I need some advise!
I'm on Premarin and its working pretty well. I was horribly anxious, achy, insomniac, depressed and was having many hot flashes a day that made me feel panicky. I feel better now than I have in 8 years! The only thing I'm still struggling with is low libido and some anxiety and depression. I think I probably need to up my dose but the warnings on Premarin have frightened me. I'm wondering if I should try the Climara Patch or the Vivelle Dot next. I've read they're both plant based and some say less dangerous if I have to increase dosage. I'd like some feedback. Anyone have good results going on one of these? Bad results? Did anyone have increase in libido or less anxiety. I also have FINALLY gotten my energy back and I don't want to lose that ; }! So if either of these decreases energy I'd like a heads up. I know its all individual but I sure appreciate the info. My poor suffering husband has been very patient and I'm hoping I can be back to myself sometime this decade. Thanks in advance ladies!!!

Dear'bibliovore'
A big welcome to the Forum. You are amongst an amazing and supportive group of ladies.
Glad to hear you are doing well with the Premarin.I was also advised,by my Doctor ,to increase my dosage of HRT.As he pointed out'One size does not fit all'
Of course it is natural to be cautious but as long as you have your Gyno's approval and have regular check-ups try not to worry to much.Any medicine, even the little old Asprin, can have side effects but ultimately we have to decide what we feel is right and will work for us.

Am sorry but have had no experience with either Climara Patch or Vivelle Dot so cannot comment on these
Am sure you will have many responses from ladies who have used these

Good Luck
