anyone?
went to the er today, they thought it was costrochondritis, but it's over by my right armpit, adn all the soft tissue around it..not near my ribs at all?
its not painful if I lean back or put my right arm back, but if I bring it forward, or lean forward the pain is awful in the area next to my armpit (not as low as my breast), and into my armpit...it almost feels like your fingers or toes do when they need to be 'cracked' like a knuckle...can't get rid of the feeling...
anyone, please help?

Lisa,
I think that it is very difficult to try and discover what the problem you are having is, from afar. However as a 'menopausal hell', veteran I would advise you that around the time my periods stopped I had lots of unexplained pain in my left shoulder/breast area and right knee. They disappeared in a puff of smoke at menopause. I think that we become terribly prone to damaging joints when we are at that stage. I had a frozen shoulder at that stage too. It was like something was ,trapped and I needed to release it. My joints are fine again now. The pain was relentless for several months.
It might be a case of taking NSAIDs (Like Neurophen) and repeating to yourself, 'this will pass.' Sometimes I do not know how we all remain sane with all these horrible symptoms!
Take care........
