I'm so sorry - Yes - Moonlight is right - try the kit that comes with the little tube for your purse.
If you end up with a collection of little tubes, you can use those with applicator for a full course. and save the $20 bux and stay brand name

Moonlight -

Have you checked here on Power Surge for a symtom called "Formication" (sensation like bugs crawling under the skin)

OR Google Dermographism or Dermatographism - me and a couple of Gals Pals have been diagnosed, and my husband fits all the tests too -
Feel free to msg me if you want.
There IS treatment for this if it is this. Ask away if you have questions.

Hugs n Peace

I've been itching too -- but mine is on my head and face. I have no dandruff or ezcema or mites or lice. I have a couple of zits from time to time, but for the most part it just itches like crazy at random. ARRGGGGHHHH!!!!

The itchies have turned into one of my WORST post menopausal symptoms. Upper back, shoulders & neck. Been going on since February. Sometimes it quiets down, sometimes it is horrible. Antihistamines help but I refuse to live on them. Annoying.
Hugs.

Dealing with the intense icky itchiness too, thinking it started up about 2 months ago. Just can't stand this itchy stuff. I feel like I am going to have to use different hair and skin products now if they will even help. I can barely stand how anything feels on my skin even nice handmade soaps. This totally tics me off as I am used to showering, shampooing daily but I swear its hard enough to deal with getting in the shower because the water hitting me from shower head even bothers me, it never did before this terrible itchy sensitivity started up.

Hi PR -

Did you per chance used to be here under a different name?

You may want to google Dermatographism. A big word that means lots of itches.
I just got diagnosed, and I know what you mean about the shower. And the soap.
Dermographism - another name for it. Dermatologist can test you in about
one minute, no needles, no drugs.

Hope you feel better.

Hi Mary Beth, I did do a search on Dermatographism, it may be what has been troubling me also, it looks like you can be tested in a minute. When doing the search I also noticed there is a connection to skin problems when you have hypothyroidism which I do take medication for. Every Spring and especially Early Spring I have problems with direct sunlight on exposed skin especially my arms and will get hives and that orange peel raised look till it calms down, thats been going on for the last 28 years. I am kinda hoping this newest bit might ease up this summer, over the counter allergy pills have been helping somewhat. I used to once in great while come to this site in my late 40's as guest, so no never here posting before but glad I am now. Thanks again for telling me about the Dermatographism, hey how are you doing since you were tested? Are you having to take Zyrtec for it, are you out of the itch zone now? Rosanne smile.gif

oh man..........i am so glad someone else posted this, because i came here tonight, totally frustrated, and ready to post this long post on ITCHING! This is crazy! This all began for me, for THE FIRST TIME really, about a week ago...
at first, i thought it was the face mask i used, i've used it many times before, and no problem....it's the kind you let dry and peel off .... this time, however, i smeared some down under my chin on both sides...not much, just a bit. Well, natrually, when i went to pull this darn thing off, it really hurt under there, it was grabbing the peach fuzz.....lol..so, i sort of just yanked it a bit, and when it hurt to much, i ended up just rinsing and rinsing and rinsing....till it was all off anyway. BUT, about 2 days pasted, and i noticed these 3 "pimples" exactly where the mask had been pulled off, under my chin on both sides, like where you lymph nodes are. So, i assumed it was from the face mask, and went on my merry way, waiting for it to disappear.
NO SUCH LUCK! Now, they didn't itch......UNTIL....about 2 days after that, when suddenly one night, all of a sudden, i noticed in the mirror, all these little pimples going down my neck,..on both sides. I hadn't put the facial mask down, THAT FAR....so, what the heck? WEll, i began to realize this must be some sort of reaction to the mask....which like i said was weird, since i hadn't put the face mask down the sides of my neck, only under my chin areas.

What does all this have to do with itching? Well, here we go..............basically, within a day of all those extra pimples appearing (they're pretty small....the original ones however, from the actual face mask under the chin..were larger), the itch began! Oh yeah! These little pimples itched, not BADLY, but they itched. BUT THEN, it got worse! Because, i noticed the next day, i had a few good sized pimples on my upper outer side , left arm! FROM WHAT? They don't itch.
Then, i noticed a few "medium" sized pimples on each breast ... they itch on occassion ......but then, just last night....oh boy....here we go, with this ITCH in the pubic area .... I called my dr. today, and he said it sounds llike hives! I have never had that! This is all new! I mean to tell you, it feels like something is crawling down there! UGH!....

is this hormonal as well? OH boy, i just hope it's ONLY hives.....
