I know how you feel. Doctors are not my friends... LOL

I'm actually going to a new doctor on Wednesday. I was feeling so miserable today, that I finally took the bull by the horns & made an appointment. Maybe this one will have the answers. If not, I'll keep going until I get them!! Grrrr!!!!

(Talk about mood swings---I keep alternating between brave and fearful today!!) rolleyes.gif

Hello...
I would suggest that you make a list tonight that you can hand to the doctor tomorrow. List all of your symptoms and the questions that you have. Then when you go in tomorrow, when he asks "What brings you here?", simply hand him the list. Have a note pad and pen so that you can take notes on what he says. (I usually have an entire page of a legal size pad filled with questions!)

Hope you feel better soon!

Hi there! If he has been doing bhrt, he will know what test need to be done. I might add that my doc, also specializes in bios listened very carefully to me and smiled. He said that I was not the first one and that he would help me. Boy, he was Right! He also told me that when women look over the meno symptom list they often would cry because they realized that they were not crazy or a hypochondriac. Meno symptoms are not in your head...they are in your body.

Going to ths doc was the best thing that I have ever done for myself.

Put a smile on your face....and calm down. This is a good thing!

Let us know how your visit goes....

I hope you'll let us know how your appointment went.

I have an appt. myself tomorrow, have already had bloodwork and now we'll discuss bhrt. Im sure hoping this will set me on the road to at least some decent sleep and a cool down from the hot flashes not to mention the body aches. dry.gif

Anyhow I wish you luck and hope you'll be back to give us an update.

Take care, Helen smile.gif

If you doctor ran an epstein barr virus test, you probably got a hold of a great doctor. I sincerely hope so! Epstein barr is the cause of infectious mononucleosis. I think that your doc is ruling out any other potential problems. Most people (95%) have had this virus. The problem is that sometimes it becomes active again, causing fatigue.

Don't forget to ask for copies of your bloodwork test and let us know.
