So I take .25 of Divigel everyday and have had terrible bleeding issues. Like 30+ days then it stops then it starts again. I tried 100 mg Prometruium and I could not stand it. Terrible. So now I am to start Aygestin 5 mg for 10 days. The first day, not too bad (I took 2.5) and then today.....I cannot take it!. I am so foggy headed, exhausted and numb feeling and depressed. I can feel the black cloud hoovering over me. I told that doc the I have a history of not being able to take any birth control because of depression. I am a nurse and I am not taking it today. How in the world will I function at work tomorrow. I can only hope it is out of my system by morning. I am running out of options here. The estrogel has taken the edge off my symtoms but I need the P somehow. Feel like I may just have to wing this with no help! I want to cry.

You still have alot of P options: search my replies about this. Anyway, some ideas....cycle in a combination patch, or oral angelique, or vaginal crinone on endometrin. Lots of options. Don't get discouraged just yet. Remember, you don't know what works for you until you try it. smile.gif Best wishes, JZZ

There is a part of me that wants to just wean off the E and go it alone. The E helped with the anxiety and alot of other issues but it has caused so many other problems with bleeding. So I have this on my mind all the time and the stress of the P issue and thinking of risks of HRT. I am very discouraged. Maybe had been through all this and understanding my symptoms would make going through this with just some supplements a little easier.

Sorry you're having such a hard time of it. Can you call your dr. for more advice? Or, get a second opion/dr visit elsewhere? I'm on a much higher dose of e and don't have bleeding issues. Just shows how different we all are. Again, very sorry about your situation. Maybe you're feeling particularly bad today due to the P still being in your system? I did terribly when I tried prometrium. Some women do take supplements, soy and other stuff for this peri/meno stuff. But, no matter what you try it all seems to need adjustments along the way.
