I just turned 48 last Friday. I have been peri since I was 41. It has been a rough road.
My bleeding during peri has gone on for about a week with no patterns to speak of. It was a week of feeling like I cut myself "somewhere down there"
Before peri, I was 5 predictable days. I peaked on day 2 then slowed down from there.

The last two months, April and May, my periods have been 3 and 2 days. All I can say is "Thank you Jesus"!!!!
Wow! What a relief! Maybe I am at the beginning of the end. I hope this continues

I have chosen not to go on BCP during peri for this very reason.

i hear ya - im 49 and my heavy year was last year- had a period for 60 straight days- this year had a small one jan 2nd and nothing since ( crossing fingers- toes and eyes ) i hope the worse is behind me - take care-

June update.

Had a preriod on June 7th, longer. so no pattern. Here we are June 27th and I had blood when I wiped the morning. sigh! Is it break through? another period? My breast have been tender this month too.

I am suppose to have a romantic get-away with Hubby. Oh no!!!! Please no bleeding!!!!

It's probably another period......so sorry if it ruins your romantic get-away....

Have not broken any news to Hybby yet. I spot for a few days so I am holding my breath.
We leave tomorrow after church. One night without son, then we pick him up. So Sumday is our day for any romance.
