Oh boy, I,m here again,it never rains but it pours,so the saying goes!!
Anyway had/have problems with breast go for mammo wednesday,but have noticed this pain creeping up on me very slight and now its WOW in my uterus!!! starts sort of week and half after my monthly(which have got so strange lately from extremely painful to minor pain to no pain to quite painful and heavy etc etc wont bore you all) but have changed,anyway this pain started several months ago,just a niggling, thought just pulled a muscle but now its been going on for a few days,it,s like i,ve been doing situps. very sore. sort of hurts both sides, but real low down uterus area it feels like, and has become more noticeable this month,will book in to Dr just feel like Hypachondria at present,get breast screening next week,then will book in just feel so ridiculous every time i go to Dr never been so much as have of late.
Anyone else suffering with this pain? I,ve read on "mittelschmerz" mid cycle pain,but sort of only mentions a few hours of pain/aches not days!!! i,m panicking again

Well I have had something similar to yours and it scarred the day lites out of me.

It would happen mostly before my period lately and the pain was very very painful on my left side almost as if my body was trying so hard to crank out a period, I also read about the mid pain cycle pain and I believe I have had that to midway.

I did go to the docs and of course they wanted to do all kinds of test including a colonoscopy because I am over 50 years young.

I also have something called Costrochrintis (spelling is off but close ) now I felt that this pain on the side seemed similar to the pain in the sterum in between the breast. So I went to the doc after several visits and said I dont want drugs for the pain but can this be associated with the Costro.?
He thought it could and recommened that I do streching exercises and apply the heat pad, then I now put TRAUMEEL ointment, I take this supplement called RHUS TOX which is made I believe from the Rannuculus flower you can google it , its for this type of pain.

So to make a long story short this all really really helped and now the episodes have gone down to almost nill.

It did take a few months to heal but now my daughter tells me to watch out for my red zones. That means if scrubbing the shower triggers this pain find another way to scrub it or not to do it, I dont carry heavy groc. bags if I can help it.

Just keeping an eye on triggers, I also jot down when My periods coming so if I get a bit of pain I attack it right away with all my medicinal creams and heat pad etc.

This time last year I made a revolving door to the dr's offices. Was having labor like pains for a week before my period, the week of and the week after! Had xrays, ct scans, transvaginal ultrasound, CA 125, they found NOTHING, but ovarian cysts. Dr. said they were NOT causing the pain I was having. I was unable to work and I finally had to close my business down completely. Doc put me on bcp's and within a couple of months I was almost completely pain free and have been that way since.

Right now I'm on Sprintec, only because the higher dose Femcon FE was above my price range since I was no longer able to work.

I am now working part time with full health coverage to boot, so I will go back to the Femcon.

Hi all-

I was under the impression that ladies can get cramping and other menstrual-type symptoms during ovulation, and I know that many of us are not ovulating as much, or at all, but I wonder if that might be caused by the ovaries kicking out an egg, or at least trying to.

I know that I used to get a 'mini-PMS' before I ovulated, complete with (one) hot flash, nausea, spotting, mild cramps, irribility, etc. Not so much lately, but I had quite a bit of that happen since I was in my teens.

,so reassuring to hear other storys,it freaks me out feel like the only one,ive noticed last 3months it creeping up, my periods have changed then this started,it feels like all over pain tho not just one side,be going on for almost 4days now period pains but slightly different,Aaaaagh sort of get head around one ache/pain then another comes along to torment the life out of you,it,s so achey.
must get to Dr for it to be checked out,feel sooooo bad going been x5 over boob issue,trouble is if leave things to fester in my brain it makes me freak and Health Anxiety gets the better.
