It has been raining sooooo many days and I have more joint pain than I need. I had no idea there were so many joints in the human body. My tmj joints are so bad today. I could sit and cry. Ear pain, jaw pain even with ibuprofen nothing is cutting it. My face feels like its throbbing. Sorry to complain, I just needed to talk about it somewhere where people understand.

Thanks

I hear ya. And add muscle aches into the mix. I wake up feeling exhausted most mornings.

Boy, could I vent here. Everytime the weather changes, my poor short little legs, and my hips go off like a barometer. mad.gif It annoys me to no end at work, and on occasion, makes me limp. (Thank goodness for the BF's "sweetie rubs"). rolleyes.gif wub.gif I'm finding that my shoulder pain is going away, though. But summer is coming, and I've been taking vitamin D, and calcium/magnesium in the mornings, I'm told that it takes a good few weeks to kick in, but I'm determined. Hope I'm helping~~~

HOw much vit. b and calcium and magnesium? I take a women's multi everyday, so I will check the dose of those vitamins. Today was rough, but tomorrow is another day,( one I will think positive) will be better.

My cal/mag is 333 mg of calcium, and the mag is 167 mg. the vitamin D is 1000 IU. I haven't been on it for a week yet, like I say, I'm told it takes a few weeks to kick in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I take the calcium/magnesium/Vit d too. It really does help. My dr suggested that it is best taken at night because it can help with insomnia too. Just don't take too much too soon. The magnesium can get you running to the bathroom.

I've had good luck with ZMA blend - which a proprietary blend of zinc, magnesium and B6. I get it at Vitamin Shoppe and I think they also carry it at GNC. Helps with sleep and really helps with muscle cramps and pain. If I miss a day I know it.

For some reason VitD didn't react well for me - acted like speed. But my house got clean fast!

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will experiment and see what works, something's got to give.

Interesting, Ive been taking vit. D calcium/magnesium along with other vitamins and suppliments for years and it dosent seem to help me with the aches and pains. I didnt even realize that it could. I know that Vit. E can help with that as it can reduce inflamation, but for me dosent seem to make much difference. sad.gif I just this past week bumped up my E to 200mgs. 3 times a day so Im hoping maybe Ill see a difference in the next few weeks.
I take a 500 mgs. calcium with 250 mgs. magnesium twice a day. Its my understanding that the magnesium should be half the dosage of the calcium to work properly.

I also notice the aches are worse when it rains, my main problems are my arms, especially above the elbows. Ive had them checked and they just cant find anything so I have to believe its the meno, though I would have never even considered that till I actually started looking into all the symptoms of menopause. I go see my Dr about the bhrt this week and hoping maybe along with helping with the flashes and sleep issues it will give me some muscle ache relief.
