Hello ladies - does anyone have dull thin lifeless hair as a result of menopause? If so, are there any good treatments or vitamins that help bring hair back to it's pre-menopausal state? My hair is just awful , almost 'straw' like and I really need to do something about it before I shave it all off! laugh.gif Thanks, Bella x

Menopause certainly does mess with your hair. Mine became dry, fuzzy and horribly fine. The hairdresser tried to blame me for not looking after it which was rubbish. I always use top quality gentle shampoos and moisturising conditioners. I had to change my style completely and have now opted for a straight bob. Some days it looks pretty darn scary. Hair health comes from inside and all you can do is try to have a good diet and not punish it in any way. No bleach, no permanent waves and gentle handling and protection from too much sun, is the only way to go! I am now post and the condition of my hair has just started to improve. The other day I glanced at my reflection in a shop window and in the sunshine, it actually looked glossy! Phew that's a relief! wink.gif
