One year ago today I had a total hytsterectomy. For the most part, life is good. I have dealt with increased anxiety(though not too bad) since the surgery and and increase in hot flashes but that seems to be fading. Now to find a way to get my libido the way it should be... mad.gif I hesitate the thought of using testosterone as I already deal with a bit facial hair, so I know the tweezers well!!
I am happy that I did have the surgery as it got rid of the endometrial pain that I had. Alas freedom from ibuprophen!!!

I don't want to ramble on and on.. I just realized that exactly a year ago I was getting wheeled into the operating room!! I thought I'd share...

Congratulations!

I'm a couple years past my hysterectomy. I had to have it because of prolapse problems. Best decision I even made because even though I had to have the hysterectomy because of a uterine prolapse, they also corrected the cycstocele and rectocele problem and things have been so much better with those problems out of the way.
