I am 41 and just last month began with some peri-menopausal symptoms -- not sleeping, mood swings etc. etc...I also have off and on a tingling in my hands and feet.  Can any one else relate to this? Also I have read so much about Revival Soy..Is it soldin Canada?  Thanks for the info.

Hi, Jan. Yes, I've had this.  But it started when I was about 56, and I  am now 58. Because I had my uterus removed when  I was 41 (kept my ovaries), I'm not sure when or if I'm postmenopausal now.  (I'd guess that at my age I must be.)  Anyway, I've had tingling in my scalp and the right  side of my face, my fingers, and my shins (front of my lower legs, from the knee down.  After being checked out by doctors (nothing was found), I can only assume it's meno related.  The tingling in my hands and legs are gone, for the most part, but the scalp tingling still occurs on and off during each day.  And I still get occasional flashes and mild night sweats, but not as bad as they used to be. The lightheaded, tired, groggy feeling isn't an every day thing anymore.  It used to be, but now is a problem maybe one or two days a week.  I hope the end is in sight.  Just wanted you to know that you're not alone.  Actually, you'll probably get a number of answers, since I know there are others on this board who have had similar problems.  I know how scary meno can be for some of us.

Hello Kleeo! Where've you BEEN? Nice to know you're around again...I think I've seen the ghost of a post of yours now and again, but this is such a busy board these days that I find it impossible to keep in touch with all the topics! But hugs and a bunch of sweetpeas to you!

Hi Jan - About a year or so ago I started having tingling, mostly in my right hand, for some reason, in the morning.   It was kind of scary, but for the most part, I haven't had it in a while.  I'm 50 and still perimenopausal, so I'm chalking it up to another "wonderful" mystery symptom of Peri!

I have used Revival, and really love the Chocolate Dream Shake, but don't/can't use it every day as I am on an extremely limited budget at present.  I try to use it at least every couple days.   If you go back to the home page, click on the Revival Button on the right, and you'll get more info, and a link (on the left, bottom) to the Revival website.  You can purchase it online.    Hope this info helps a little.  Kim

Hi - I had noticed "itching" as a symptom in the beginning somewhere, in these posts, but haven't read anything about anyone's experiences.  From time to time my armpits get itchy!  (You can stop laughing now!)  I have  not switched detergents or soaps, or deodorant, so I wondered if anyone can relate? I only found out about your site in the States a couple of days ago.  As far as I'm aware we don't have anything like this in the UK.

I get what I can only term as under the skin itching in my hand and arm and occasionally the foot and leg.  It has only happened in the last two cycles once on the left side and last time on the right side.

I did not menstruate for six months but it seems to have come back with a vengence and I now have pills to lessen the flow but this under skin itching has only started since it got so heavy.

I don't use HRT as I'd like to get through the menopause as naturally as possible but we'll see.

I just joined yesterday. Not only do I get the tingling in my hands and feet, when it is really bad I get it everywhere! It is like this shot of fear that races through me. Sometimes really strong in my pubic area and outter vaginal area too. I have not been diagnosed with being perimeno yet, but I have sooooo many syptmoms, at 43, that I can't imagine that I'm not. My anxiety and nervousness is awful, along with the shaking that begins in my chest and then I begin to feel shaky all over. That I'm guessing is from nevers b/c I don't understand what the heck is going on. You're not alone. Under "Ask the Expert" email Dr. Phil Warner. My friend who is also on this site says he and his wife Diane are great!. Good luck to you.

For the first time last week, I noticed my back was constantly itchy! At work I kept taking the scissors to reach down my back and scratch and then when I got home I had my husband scratch me.... constantly! It was the week before my period and my anxiety symptoms returned and now that my period is ending, I noticed the itchy is almost gone. That was a first.
