I am looking for some assistance for my best friend of who is in her thirties. Martha has been my friend ever since we were in school. We have been through thick and thin in life. I am a homemaker while she chose to become a working mother. Now after all these years I feel sorry for her, as she has taken upon herself many responsibilities at home and work. She is very over-worked, looking after the home, husband, kids, job and all the demands that come with life. I want to help her find her own self worth and live a life she can love! Is there any way out?
Does she want a way out? I chose to work too and find a lot of self-worth in the jobs that I do. I've recently lost my job and find that being at home with mountains of laundry and dishes just isn't my cup of tea. Yes, I did those duties while I worked but I was able to escape the unendingness of it all. I can't explain it well but I get much more accomplished at home and find housework much more enjoyable after a day at the office than I do now, while being faced with it day in and day out... So I ask .. are you sure she wants a way out?
